02/14/2024 /Posted bykolan.adm / 933

The tomb of Süleyman Çelebi, opposite the Karagöz monument on the Çekirge road, is a structure placed on four legs with an open surrounding, among old cypress trees.

Süleyman Çelebi was born in the era of Orhan Gazi, lived through the periods of Murad I and Mehmed I (Çelebi), then became the imam of Yıldırım Bayezid’s Imperial Council, became a disciple of Emir Sultan, and served as imam in the Grand Mosque. Hz. The Mawlid book, which describes and praises the personality of Muhammad, has been read for centuries on holy days and nights and nourishes the spiritual feelings of the Turkish people.
